conference. I actually wanted them to win every game except the game against BYU. This would theoretically make the BYU victory a bigger deal. And the game was always played at the end of the season with so much on the line. Since then, and yes since the Utes joined the PAC12; I have become completely bitter towards Utah (which isn't very healthy I know).

Part of this, really is the streak and part of it is sheer jealously. This is just my opinion but I believe if BYU would have joined a P5 conference in 2011 we would be killing Utah in recruiting. I know others don't agree with this sentiment. We would also be more apathetic towards Utah than we are currently.

But in general, I just can't stand most Ute fans (I know this is a general statement) but I do think as a whole, Utah has way more obnoxious fans than does BYU. (Queue up the “both sides have poor fans blah, blah, blah” argument). I have many really good Ute friends, but they aren't the ones who seem to represent Utah. They are silent and oblivious to Ute Fandom Horrors. They hear all the same anti LDS non-sense from their fan base and don't seem phased one bit. You don't see this from Catholics who live in Indiana. They may pull for Purdue but they don’t hate the Irish in the same way. It's like hating yourself...it's really odd.
