The worst scene in the history of cinema was right after they let all the space race horses out and Rose says
in a very serious voice as the horse things run away, “at least it was all worth it.” What?!?! You just failed your mission thus dooming all your friends, and pretty much the whole galaxy but freeing a few spaces horses makes it all worth it?!?! Not to mention all the slave kids you left behind!!! And really, are those spaces horses going to be any better off out in the wild? They’re freaking race horses, they have no clue how to survive in the wild. They’ll either be dead or recaptured in a month. But I guess it’s “all worth it.” 🙄

The second worse scene is when Rose inexplicably makes up 100 yards distance on Fin to come out of nowhere and crash into him thus denying him the chance at his first act of bravery thus dooming all he friends and basically the whole galaxy for s second time. I mean her plan was to stop him from crashing into the laser bartering ram thing by... CRASHING INTO HIM, THUS PUTTING THEM BOTH AT RISK BUT WITH NO POSSIBILITY OF SAVING THEIR FRIENDS?!?! Her bright idea was to crash into Fin to keep him from crashing?!?! What a dumb, nonsensical scene. Should have let Fin save the day and do something useful for once.

And the kiss right after? There was never any mutual romance between thr two. It was forced and awkward.

And how did those two ever make it back the the base after crashing right in front of a huge force of enemies?

So, anyway, that’s why those characters sucked so bad in the last Jedi. Too bad because I actually liked Fin in the first movie and was hoping he’d keep growing as a character but they made him into a bumbling coward for most thr movie and robbed him of his heroic, sacrificial redemption.
