1. This team has exceeded my expectations by 4 wins at this point in the season. Much better than anticipated.

2. The team is playing really well together and shooting the ball really well.

3. The wins against UNLV and Nevada were delicious! I still remember our loss to Nevada at their place. Carma.

4. That being said, this team lives and dies by the 3. BYU will have a night/nights like Nevada did where we just can't buy a bucket.

5. We are still really undersized in the post. Teams like Utah State, Gonzaga and St. Mary's are the opposite. Rebounding and second chance points will be a struggle against these teams.

6. Cougar Board is so bi-polar that I worry the pitch forks will come out as soon as something goes wrong. If you don't believe me, look back at the comments on Haws in those early games.

7. Saying things like, "Pope is doing what Rose couldn't" is simply bonkers to me. Rose is the most successful coach in BYU history. Pope has coached 12 games.

8. BYU/Pope will have some rough patches. I hope the fans stay positive through the rough patches.
