The problem is I think going to a G5 would hurt recruiting and revenue which

ultimately makes the program less competitive in the long run. Yeah, we could compete with the other G5s for that spot but I would worry that the program overall would slide in quality and make it more difficult to get a spot in a P5 conference or to even compete at a nationally relevant level.
