I'm an avid mountain biker, but started road biking this past year too as I trained for my first half Ironman. The trails (and roads) get too wet to ride in the winter so I'm off my bikes for a few months.

The past two winters I have put my bike on a trainer to stay in shape but that has gotten annoying and is pretty loud. I'm looking at getting a spin bike. Any suggestions for a good one?

My wife wants me to get a peloton, but they are expensive. I know I would use it ton so I'm not worried about it just sitting there being money wasted, but I'm still not sure it's worth the money. Opinions? Peloton or another spin bike?
