Solo is the most non essential Star Wars movie.

Out of all the Disney Star Wars movies, this is the one that most feels like a naked cash grab. Do we really need an entire movie dedicated to Han Solo's backstory? The film has nothing to do with the Skywalker saga and really adds nothing to the overall Star Wars story as presented in the other films. The movie has kind of a bland, by the numbers feel to it.

Also the actor playing a young Han Solo looks nothing like Harrison Ford and is a good 4 inches shorter than him.

Solo is a decent, entertaining stand alone film, but it's not a good Star Wars movie.
