Good actor. Boring character. There's no reason for him to be the bad guy. None.
And yeah, everyone laughed when he first took off his helmet in TFA. He's far from intimidating. But he was great in Black Klansman and other things I've seen him in. Star Wars will be a black mark on his resume to some extent, but it's made him famous.
