I really wish they would make an exception for byu athletes. There has to be a
way to tie in service. They already visit hospitals, kids with terminal illness. Why not bring back the firesides and make the athletes a bigger community outreach program. It would build a ton of goodwill across the country.
They could be set apart and be called to the BYU athletics mission. TH could be the MP.
If there is someone who could pull it off, it would be President Nelson.
