and I think it’s in large part because I read it as a 13 year old, was Catcher in the Rye. I related the Holden Caulfield so well despite the fact it was written close to 30 years before I read it in 1979.

I don’t consider it the best book I’ve ever read but for how it affected me at the time I read it I would consider it the most significant.
