The quest is the one you need to get.
The go is like phone vr. Its not good. Maybe it's okay for watching movies and stuff but thats really it. It has basically a laser pointer and youre stuck in 1 perspective.

The quest is like pc vr(not quite but its really amazing what theyve done with it). You get a controller for each hand. You can move them around and the headset tracks them well. You can move around. I need to take my quest a church gym and play. You can use the entire space.

Almost all the popular pc vr games are being released on the quest. The quest is also the golden child of oculus. Its been out for 6 months and they have been improving it since day 1.

They are making all go apps compatible on the quest. They just released hand tracking so you can interact without the controllers (brand new. Like this week. They aren't even adding it to their fancy headset, the rift s, so far). They added a tethered feature so if you get a pc that can run vr you plug your quest into the pc and it can play games that arent released for the quest (asgards wrath, half life alyx, etc)

It is amazing and totally worth the 400 bucks. They might still have the deal going that includes all 3 episodes of vader immortal when you purchase a quest.

Its more than a gaming system. I play beat saber in the mornings for excercise. Depending on how you play, the calorie burn can be comparable to tennis.

In short, please buy the quest and not the go 🙂

I have 1 minor gripe with it though.

Its not comfortable wearing it for more than 30 minutes. I can use my vive for 2 hours and feel fine. My kids dont seem to mind. But there are simple diy adjustments you can do to make it comfortable.
