Most episodic shows are slow burns that develop the characters over a long time and a lot of episodes. Star Trek. The A-Team. The X-Files. Etc. This one does not have enough content to do so. It has spent 3/4 of the season with the only real development in episodes 1 and 3. Unless there’s some real development in the final two episodes, viewers may not understand the point in the end.
