Episode 6 is very different than the other episodes. It has some pacing issues in the latter half of the episode (a bit too much running through identical looking hallways), but the first half actually feels like a dramatic show for adults with tension. A total change up from several previous episodes.

The Mandalorian is a bit of a mess thematically. Some episodes feel like a family drama akin to Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, and then another episode is a fan film with wooden acting and a bare bones cast, then another feels like Attack of the Clones, then another feels like a decent Breaking Bad episode where Walt and Jesse get in too deep with some drug dealers.

What does this show want to be?
