that Virginia did do well, whether anyone likes it or not. The facts are BYU did better under Bronco as well, whether anyone likes it or not. And the chances are that Bronco is a much better coach based on nearly every available measure except chumminess with oversensitive fans.
I think it makes sense for us to want any person or team that we have competition with for resources, recruits, wins or prestige to fail. You make sense on that hypothetically, but as a practical matter what we hope for doesn't matter and Virginia is probably going to continue to do pretty well with some ups and downs because they have a good coach and leader who works crazy hard and inspires those who work directly with him.

Almost 5 star (.97 composite) LDS OL with BYU in his top 4 and his brother at BYU and he goes to UVA? Not a good look.
