This. Recruiting is weird. We pretend 18 year olds are logical.

Kid could want to stay close to family ... or get away from family. Wants to try a new environment or one that is familiar. Be on the team with a sibling or not.

Heaven forbid that student actually is going for a particular academic program!

Don't sweat one recruit. Worry about overall trends.
