I hear what you're saying but to me it casts aspersions on his character.
I just don't think it's something that should be speculated about. BYU has enough problems with its football program right now, and that's why you don't see many Big Time recruits coming to BYU.
Gentry had offers from every major program in the country. He could have gone wherever he wanted. The funny thing is that the one of the reasons he chose Virginia over many of the other major programs is because it aligned with his religion better. Doesn't sound like someone who wants to avoid the Honor Code office does it?
