I'm not entirely sure what you mean by equating hurricanes to GW, but our best

understanding of the physics governing our climate does project increased hurricane intensity, precipitation, and higher storm surge inundation levels due to sea level rise (source). It is incorrect to attribute any particular storm to human activity. It is more proper to talk about exacerbating effects or increased percentage of storms crossing some intensity/preciptiation/flooding threshold.
