For as flawed as the 4-team playoff is, it's still way better than the BCS.
Instead of having to pick 2 of the 3 undefeated teams at the end of the regular season (LSU, Ohio St., Clemson), it was allowed to play out on the field, which is much more satisfying.
It doesn't work out perfectly every year, and expanding the playoff field would still be wise (and fun). But this year there is no team that has a legitimate gripe.
