Bill Riley preceded Wrubell at KSL and during his time there

made me feel like he was a fan of BYU.  I've always liked Bill Riley.  I don't listen to him much, because his job now is to be a Utah homer.  He still lets it known that originally he grew up a Kansas Jayhawk and entered the Utah sports market for a job.  I think he likes it a lot better being the call guy for Utah than from when he was at BYU, but part of that is because he's not LDS.

Of all those on the radio in SLC, I would prefer to listen to him the most.  From what I've heard, he was part of the power that was behind launching of ESPN 960, that coveres BYU sports, because his company is a sister company KALL ESPN 700, both owned by Dell Loy Hansen's Broadway Media company.
