Oh absolutely best for him, USC isn’t who they think they are

But I don’t think he needed to grow up at all, he had been coaching for 35 years. He just needed a program to believe he was the guy. His interim time as USC head coach the players loved him and won for him, but LSU is where he can be himself and a better fit for many reasons. USC didn’t want him to be the face of their program, LSU has been a perfect fit.

He still had some growing up to when he was there. It's best for him that he moved on.
