For those that know the deliciousness that is cap steak, Costco has it
down to $16.99 per pound (down from $22.99 per pound), with an extra $10 off per package. This is USDA Prime.
On a 3 steak package of just over 2 pounds, that's ~$25 off the price it was 2 weeks ago. The $10 off expires today according the the sign.
You won't find any at my local Costco though, I just cleaned them out. $200 of the best steaks I've ever eaten now grace my freezer.
If you don't know what cap steak is, it is a "man made" steak of just that deliciously tender and flavorful edge of the ribeye. You know what I'm talking about, those two or three best bites. The butcher cuts this off the full rib, and makes it into a steak tied together with string. Every bite is that edge bite.
