Serious question. If you’ve “quit” something, and then gone back on it, did you
Really quit it in the first place?

The easiest example is pornography. Let’s say I have a pornography problem and I go a couple of months without looking at it, and then decide to get back to looking at it. Did I ever really quit looking at porn? I stopped looking at it for a period of time but never really permanently quit.

To me quitting something and not being addicted to something means I’m permanently never going to participate in that thing ever again.

Usually when we talk about addictions, we’re talking about something harmful. In this case caffeine is harmful to a body.
