Very good list and advice. LoseIt app and a food scales are my go-to's when it
is time to shed pounds.
Which is it happens to be right now.
I like to go with beef, pork (mmm, bacon), eggs, fish, etc. more proteins and minimal carbs, but as you said, it's the total calories that matter.
Have small fridge stocked with protein shakes and diet coke as well.
