I'm midway through book 3, and so far... (spoiler)
... Sanderson's decision to characterize Shallan's alter-egos (particularly 'Radiant') is a rare miss from the otherwise skilled writer. Its distracting and annoying.
Granted, I still have like 600 pages to go so that's really more than a whole book for most series so hopefully it cleans up
