the time. I heard this thing growling in the closet, move stuff around open the hatch daily to the attic. Two or three times it would poke me with a finger nail in the night to wake me up and one time grabbed my crotch. I was divorced at the time and it seemed to like to pick on my girlfriends either growling in the closet or holding my eventual future wife's hand in the night. One very beautiful women I was dating asked me to take her home and never would come back to the house. It would knock three short knocks on my bedroom door almost every night. My kids lived with me, but the hallway was always empty when I opened it. One of my daughters was in high school and entered Brighton HS. She came home one afternoon after school and this thing growled in the dining room. She said the doberman started howling and racing around the family room. My daughter split and when my wife got home from work, the house was empty and the dog would not come out from under the coffee table
I talked to a "medium" one night about it and she said there was definitely a poltergeist in my house. I offered to pay her money to visit and she said she would come anywhere near the place. She said "if you are Catholic talk to your priest and if you are Mormon talk to your Bishop". She asked if it felt evil and I said no. She said that was good, because contrary to popular popular belief, spirits can hurt you. She said sometimes when a new family moves into a house a poltergeist becomes upset and becomes active. She said hopefully it will go away.
Lots more stuff went on including when I was out of town my HS aged daughter had friends over and they brought a wigi board. I guess this thing went crazy for an hour. My daughter and her boyfriend would not get near the board. One of the kids came into the kitchen and asked who ____ was? (My name). My daughter said that's my dad and this kid said they asked it why it was here and it
spelled out "I like ____ (my Name).
After about two or three years it just disappeared. One of my co-workers a few years ago after hearing the story said "it was obviously a gay ghost and was trying to chase off my girlfriends:-)
