I think what confuses some on here are the moments when he loses focus on the system the coach has in place and goes half-cocked which puts the team in a bad situation.
Example from yesterday was BYU was holding strong keeping it close enough within range when Haws made three poor choices in trying to score without his team. He missed all three attempts in a way that lead to three transition baskets by Gonzaga
The team never recovered after that and the gap continued to widen.
I think Haws is a strong baller. Some of the stuff he pulls off is amazing. However there are these moments of selfish behavior at times (the head scratching stuff) that almost always puts the team at risk.
