First time for me and my kids to Disneyland (don't hate.... we've taken them to Disney World.)

We'll be there Thursday and Friday this week. Doing Park Hopper and Max Pass...
Any tips for how to do things at Mickey's house?
What to bring into the park? I understand you can bring backpacks and snacks. Huge win!
Ways to schedule the day?
Places to eat in the park?
