That was a prolem for me as a kid. The church had imposed some arbitrary

Restriction that you couldn't travel more than 100 miles for an activity and our SP was not going to bend on it. That probably wasn't as bad if you lived in Utah but where i was at it severely limited your options. Made scouting a lot less than it could have been.
