Growing up, we had a family tradition on MLK day.
It was my idea, as a 7 year old, to have banana splits with a scoop of chocolate ice cream and a scoop of vanilla ice cream... to symbolize that it is better when white and brown are together.

My parents rolled with it and we had banana splits every year after that. In retrospect it seems both totally ridiculous and also very genius.
