If you’re a kid that likes war movies and thinks he wants to be in the army...
the point is as a 7 year old you don’t get the gravity of war. It is like a fantasy with adventure and excitement. You just don’t yet have a grasp on death and also the inhumanity of it all. It’s not real to you.
Try not to overthink it, kids don’t really get it at that age.
