Eh, I think the real problem is, accounting is a terrible field to work in
I've watched my sister climb the ladder over the past 20 years - CPA, big 4, then private sector. Seems like she never has a single good thing to say about it, other than the paycheck and the fancy lunches. Otherwise, it's just a string of horrible bosses, horrible clients, horrible hours, horrible regulations. They only pay you a lot because it sucks.

I think I could have been happier as a personal trainer or computer programmer if the pay was the same as my current pay
