STROKE UPDATE: It's a new year and I am so excited. About ready to embark on a
two year journey. So as far as my current physical condition goes. I still suffer from neuropathy in my left side mostly in my groin, leg and foot/right side of my face still feels weird, numb and wet. Right eye still is blurry at times and I feel the constant pull for it to droop even though it is barely noticeable by others. Since the stroke my weight climbed to 278 lbs which felt like I fell all the way back down the mountain in all the efforts I put in to my health and wellness prior to me having a stroke.

While my recovery according to the specialists has been miraculous (my stroke was much more severe than I realized) I am still frustrated by the symptoms that linger and the fact that I blew up in size after I had worked so hard getting the weight off and getting into much better health wellness.

So what is next? My wife actually convinced me to quit my job with the bank and go on the road with her so she could work as a traveling rad and ct tech at hospitals around the country. She pitched the idea that I could focus on developing my own health and wellness brand during the next two years while she worked and we would get to travel and have fun since all of our children are adults. She knew just how passionate I am about food, nutrition and being connected to the earth and made her opinion known that she doesn't believe that I belong in finance. So.........what to do....

After pondering over her pitch for about a week I prayed and fasted and came to the conclusion that this was the right thing to do. I was leaving on good terms so that was not going to be a problem if things didn't work out and I need to get rehired, but the reality was I would get a real opportunity to make a go of this.

My plan is to create my own health and wellness brand using the breadth of social media to show my own cooking videos (think home country adventure on youtube), my own live stream which will be a show divided into what we put into our bodies, how we work our bodies, how we rest our bodies as well as the mental emotional and spiritual nourishment we give ourselves for true balance. I will be interviewing subject matter experts along with reviewing the latest and greatest to curtail the hype. I will also attempt to create a few documentary films showcasing farm to table restaurants while on the road. My goal in a nutshell is to become the Dave Ramsey of Health and Wellness. (yes I want to monetize this)

This is a big deal and for me a chance to prove to myself that I can do this. I will be allowing people into my life to watch me go from my current health level to getting into the best shape of my life (practice what I preach become the embodiment of truth) This week I began for the first time since my stroke to actually exercise and I am regulating my nutrition. Weight is already being released and I guess it's here we go time......

I will also have time to learn how to play the guitar (something I have wanted to do for a long time) and write a novel as well as the Libretto for an Opera. Gotta mix it up right? Meanwhile my wife and I will get the opportunity to travel meet lots of people (we are LDS so new wards and branches like missionaries) and learn more about the salt of the earth of this country as we go from one place to another.

Our first stop will be Berlin/Montepelier/Barre Vermont. My wife's assignments are 90 day with often a chance to extend. We might extend the first assignment if things are positive enough due to our proximity to Canada, the east coast, Boston, New York, etc. Lots to do and experience. I can say that I am so excited for this opportunity and look forward to the challenges as I work my way back to the best health I can be in.

I will have all my social media accts set up and ready to promote and showcase what I am doing during Feb thru Mar while in Vermont. Anyone who is interested to follow along feel free to board message me or even respond to this thread.
