Right now not much is known. If it mutates and makes transmission easier does that increase the risk of it taking off like wildfire and infecting many more then SARS. SARS was fairly easy to contain. Not so easy with the Swine Flu. For older people or immune systems at risk this could be problematic. It's too early to know what the mortality rate will be at this time it's just interesting how pro-active the Chinese are right now at trying to contain this virus. Also, no government is going to say it's a big deal until it's already being reported as a big deal. So if there is anything we don't know which is pretty likely and it's grim, then we won't hear about it for a while until it has to be reported. It's how I'd control this as well if I was part of the CDC or Chinese government.
