Yes, I have recently watched full NBA games on Youtube from the 2000s
when they were still playing out the clock.

As a fan I want to see them play to the end. I actually have fond memories of plays that happened in blowouts, like Fred Roberts taking off from just inside the foul line at the end of a blowout loss to the Lakers in the 1987 Finals and almost tearing the rim off with a thunderous dunk that temporarily shut the Laker fans up.

Here is what I would like to see at the end of the blowout — the team that is up milks the clock and takes a good shot. The team that is way behind continues to play defense and attempts to score on the other end. I think players that come off the bench at the end of games like that can get a couple meaningful half court sets. And if you don't want to play anymore, don't play. But don't start a brawl because the other team still wants to compete.
