The skill set to play NFL qb is insane
1. Have to be in top physical condition and athletically gifted.
2. Need ability to make snap decisions where inputs are rapidly changing and your competition has a desire to hurt you.
3. Have to rely on and put other people in a position to prevent a career ending injury.
4. Expected to be articulate, personable, patient and even funny dealing with the public and press.
5. Have to avoid various temptations or have your mistakes be front page news.
6. If your team doesn’t win it’s your fault period, but you don’t pick your team.
7. Have to be able to throw the ball 50 yds to within 1-2 feet of a target while running at full speed.
8. Have to memorize a playbook and have high intelligence and creativity generally.
9. Have to be tall and expected to be good looking, well dressed and groomed off the field.
