They should never change from Beehive State
anything else would be a trendy, focused-group managed, SEO-friendly, corporate-approved atrocity. Utah is completely unique in its history and founding, and should absolutely pay homage to the history of the Mormon pioneers who settled there. "Beehive" not only speaks to its industriousness, but is actually a translation of the state's original name: Deseret, which is a Jaredite word found in the Book of Mormon meaning honeybee.

That is literally the coolest, most unique state nickname in our country. It should be written into the Utah State Constitution that its nickname can never change.
