I used to run like Forest Gump, but about 20 years ago lower back issues forced me to stop. Every once in a while I'd try taking it up again, but inevitably the pounding exacerbated back issues.
Last year I tried Hoka and have been able to do some light running with out back issues so far but the stack is still uncomfortably high to me. I am now looking at other soft options, specifically Brooks Glycerin 17.
Anyone have opinions?
