We got my parents the self-emptying one for Christmas. I can’t get the thing to map their floor. It says to just keep having it clean a bunch of times and eventually it will have the whole thing done but it doesn’t seem to be building off the other map or starting where it left off.

Their main floor is pretty large and I just have no faith that it will ever map it when it seems to just clean the same area over and over again.

We have an ECOVACS debot and it works great and took a while to get a good map but would always start where it left off and build off its previous map. The shark has way higher reviews and should be way nicer and I don’t know why it’s not figuring this out. Any suggestions?
