My wife is trying to remember a movie from the past. The part she remembers is a worker boy & the daughter of the house used to hide & play inside the wall through a hidden door. Later in the movie when the mother & father are fighting the dad accidentally shoots the wall, killing the boy hidden in it with the girl trying to escape the chaos of the household. The boy dies in front of the girl... My wife thinks there was a doll or something else of significance in the storyline.
