When you visit Pompeii it's mostly about experiencing the streets and buildings, because the artifacts and best preserved mosaics and frescos have been taken to a museum in Napoli. If you're going to visit the Napoli museum as well as Pompeii ruins, there's less reason to go to the Leonardo.
But it's a very well done exhibit with lots of artifacts and an excellent display of plaster casts. I learned a lot even though I've been to Pompeii multiple times.
