Fast and pray for good weather and calm seas. Never a guarantee, but later
summer months (July/August) usually better than earlier.
If you are blessed with good weather, it is a once in a lifetime experience. If you aren’t, you will likely have a good case of sea sickness and wonder what’s on the other side of the low-hanging clouds.
Not trying to be a downer, but having grown up in Alaska, the weather and nature rules supreme.
