My friend has a 5500 sq ft home in Highland. It's only 3 bed 2.5 bath.
Seems like kind of a waste but it does prevent the inlaws from coming and staying for weeks at a time.

Most 5000 sq ft homes aren't too crazy, IMO. If you have an open concept rambler, you're to 5000 sq ft immediately.
