Groups. It was the longest line we waited in. 60 minutes.

For Resistance it’s important to follow the steps. You have to be in the park and ticket or pass scanned for that day.

Before you enter the park download the Disneyland App. After everyone is in the park if you don’t have annual passes like us you need to link all your tickets together in the app.

If you come on Saturday or Sunday the crowds are much bigger. We stayed at the Fairfield so we had 4 day park hoppers (strongly recommendation for park hoppers at DL) that gives us one magic morning- one hour early to one park one day.

If you stay at a Disney Hotel I believe they give you a magic hour which gives you an a extra hour every morning at either park I believe. This is important because we used our day on Saturday. The only day you can access Disneyland an hour early. We did this and we got to go to fantasyland and Tomorrowland. At 7:50 we stoped everything and sat down at a table.

You need to have the app open to the “home screen” not the link to star wars land. Super important.

At 8 am exactly you select “find out more” on the home page for Star Wars.

Then click “my status” they have another link title “join a boarding group” I don’t know what that other link is for.

Then you see a link “join a boarding group” select this. You get a random group number. Turn your notifications (they let you know when it’s time for your group) on and hopefully you and your group get a group number. The whole park is quiet and as soon as it’s 8:01 everyone let’s out their joy or frustration.
