The Chinese kid spent a good while practically bearing testimony (though I don't think the kid is LDS) of the amazing nature of the founding of the US and the appreciation for how awesome it was, the amazing leap forward in human civilization and how it seems to have been inspired by a higher power. The Chinese kid seemed more patriotic about the US than many of those that are born here. And a lot of that came from what he learned in American Heritage.
