Yeah, I'm confused about that. I think CR is way cheaper.
I rented a house in Puerto Viejo on the Caribbean coast a few years back for my family of six for $600 for an entire month. The only place where I'd say it's more expensive is renting a car. There was an insurance policy that I couldn't decline for some annoying reason.

The Bahamas aren’t too bad. I prefer BVI or St Lucia. Costa Rica is also great, as is Jamaica. Puerto Rico is
