A week ago you were telling me how the Jazz are not a good team and are "paper champions".
A week later and the posts are about how the national media and 538 don't respect the Jazz for how good they are. I do realize there are a lot of Jazz fans on this board and obviously not everyone shares the same opinion. But some were the same posters.
I won't link specific posts, but there are plenty out there.
So what changed? The Jazz won at home against a sub .500 team who had a call go against them late.
The Jazz won on a last second heroic heave from Bogey against a team full of little people (Ok slight, exaggeration-solid win).
The Jazz beat a Mavericks squad missing Luka Doncic (kind of like Simon and Garfunkel without Paul Simon).
Now I'm not saying Jazz fans shouldn't be happy over the winning, they absolutely should. Winning each and every night in the NBA is difficult.
But to go from how terrible your team is to how terrible the media is for disrespecting them in a week is kind of nutty imho.
As for me? I think the Jazz are a very good team who might not be quite good enough to contend for a title. They could prove me wrong but their record against the best teams is not good.
In other news, who would have thought Jordan Clarkson would be better than Mike Conley? Am I right?
