the article said the woman claimed the attendant told her she "would be escorted

off the plane". Planes divert if a passenger is unruly and they believe there is a danger to other passengers. Obviously no one is pushing her out of the plane with a parachute. They might have authorities there when the plane lands. I don't know, it just doesn't sound like the story is adding up.
