East Coast bias is real - 75% of the country lives in the Eastern and Central time zones.
And, Football just isn't as popular in the West as it is in Texas, the South, and the Midwest.
The PAC 12 needs to get into Texas and the Central time zone...but how? They aren't going to add anyone from the Big 12, so the only available expansion candidates are in the AAC and CUSA.
The conference has made an effort to schedule more games against Texas schools, but I would double down and try to get every PAC 12 school in the Central or Eastern time zone each year. They need the exposure. I'd also reduce the conference schedule to 8 games.
And, it's hard to carry MWC-like programs in OSU and WSU when the odds are already against you. But, they aren't kicking anyone out.
