I was once reading a thread on Reddit, iirc, that was about drinking in
Wisconsin. It was terrifying and disgusting how many wisconsinites said DUIs are basically a right of passage there. It was basically people saying I have one, my dad has one, all my buddies have one, so what.
I know they have a very heavy drinking culture there but it was mind blowing to me how they blew it off as not a big deal. I have never been to Wisconsin so I am not saying this is how it is without a doubt, idk, just what I can relate anecdotally from an online conversation so take it with a big grain of salt.

I don't care if people drink but once they put other's lives at risk because of their beverage of choice I think there should be a heavy punishment.
