Drunk Driving vs. Texting
I completely agree with many on here that we are too lenient with DUI's. In my opinion your license should be gone after one offense for 3 months, second offense 3 years. Third offense gone permanently. Or something along those lines.

But many studies conclude that texting(and otherwise looking at your phone) is just as dangerous and yet we shrug that off daily when we see it. I see people looking at their phone on the freeway, through intersections, everywhere.

How much more strict do we need to make the penalties on texting while driving?

It's crazy to me that we get up in arms about DUIs (rightfully so) but kind of turn a blind eye to another really bad problem.
