It’s one very easy to observe and obey rule that would save lives.
Just because there are others doesn’t mean you can’t fix some of them, especially a very common one.
When seatbelt laws went into effect there were many other dangers in a car and many hated the law. But enforcing that one thing saved lives. Worth it.

Yes but so are tons of other things we would never ban so that doesn't really move the discussion forward at all.
